Our English class is studying the memoir Night, by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.
I worked in a group with Chloe and I to create an Empathy Map for Elie at this age.
Elie is a boy who is around 12 and is very religious. There a four childen in his family. Elie is the third oldest and the only boy. His two eldest sisters help in their parents store. As for Elie, his place was in the house of study. Elie met Moishe the beadle in 1941. Moishe the beadle helps Elie to guide him on his studies of Kabbalah and to understand more about his religion. They spoke almost every evening in the synagogue.
